Auric: Interface
An immersive light sculpture that tracks the body and translates movement into glow, distortion, and sound-led response. The piece explores self-worth through an interface that feels both intimate and machine-like.
About
Auric: Interface began as a personal reminder of inner value during a period of self-doubt. I wanted the installation to sit between affirmation and unease, with the body becoming both subject and trigger.
Brief
Developed as part of a Light Sculptures elective, the project focused on the relationship between light, body, and emotion. The aim was to build an immersive experience that felt reflective rather than spectacular.
After multiple iterations, the final installation found a balance between sound, movement, and luminosity. It became a small spatial essay on tension, self-image, and radiance.
