Lanesurf

Lanesurf was my graduation project at CNVRT Labs, developed for a YC Summer School '25 startup as an AI-native web experience for freight automation. My role focused on shaping the visual and motion direction early in the process: I created the initial storyboard that guided the render, explored the interface language, selected plugin workflows for the 3D handoff, directed the 3D artist through references and review, and used JSON expressions to move animation data through After Effects.

Brief

The brief was to help shape Lanesurf's web presence into something more memorable than a standard SaaS landing page. The experience needed to communicate the product quickly while still giving the brand a distinct world, using motion, spatial storytelling, and interface structure to make the startup feel sharper and more complete.

Outcome

Outcome

The workflow moved from storyboard and visual references into Blender render tests, plugin-led handoff experiments, After Effects motion work, and JSON-based animation data export. This let me contribute beyond surface design by helping define how the visual direction, 3D production, and web implementation could connect inside one working pipeline.
